Currency

The official tender in Serbia is dinar, abbreviated RSD. Money may be exchanged in all banks and post offices, as well as in authorized exchange offices. Dinar is issued in denominations of 10/20/50/100/200/500/1000/5000.

Most of the local bars, restaurants and shops accept debit and credit cards, but it’s not a bad idea to carry some cash, just in case.

 

Taxi

You’ll definitely need cash for transportation – taxis rarely accept debit or credit cards. Only Taxi company that can be ordered by twitter handle @NaxisTaxi and please make sure you say that you will pay by credit card.
